The challenge

Many hosting providers and MSPs run their customer administration in WHMCS and their support in FreeScout. Two systems, two browser tabs, and agents constantly switching back and forth to find the right customer context for a ticket. That costs time, leads to mistakes, and makes customers wait longer than necessary.

Our solution

We built an open source FreeScout module that integrates WHMCS seamlessly into the helpdesk. As soon as a ticket comes in, the module automatically links it to the right WHMCS account. The agent immediately sees relevant customer data, open invoices, active services and registered domains, all within the familiar FreeScout environment.

Full context, one click from the ticket

From a ticket, an agent can directly jump to the customer page in WHMCS, or log in as that customer to verify or replicate something. For support teams that means a lot less clicking around, and for customers it means faster and more accurate responses.

The impact

The support team works from a single environment with all information at hand. The module is freely available on GitHub as open source, supports 21 languages and is used by hosting companies around the world.
