Complete real estate platform for administration, finance, maintenance and tenant portal
The challenge
Woldring United manages a diverse real estate portfolio: residential units, business spaces, buildings, parking spots and bike spaces. On top of that comes a daily flow of rental matters such as contracts, reminders, automatic direct debits, interim and final settlements, rent increases, repairs and inspections. Working from disconnected systems became unsustainable. They needed one central platform that drives the complete administration, maintains integrations with the two existing websites woldringverhuur.nl and dewoldringlocatie.nl, and feeds a dedicated app for the technical service.
Our solution
We built an extensive WordPress plugin that acts as the heart of the entire organization. All real estate objects and related data, from residents and tasks to inspections and direct debit profiles, are included as their own objects in the system. The architecture is modular: every component stands on its own and can be developed further independently, without affecting the rest of the platform.
Financial engine under the hood
The plugin fully automates the generation of interim and final settlements based on Excel templates, and processes periodic rent increases. For collecting rents, SEPA direct debit is built in: the software creates direct debit batches, processes reversals and sends contract reminders on time. Statistics on rents, deposits and year-on-year comparisons are available at any moment.
Real estate, maintenance and technology in one
Repairs, inspections and tasks each have their own flow within the system. An activity monitor tracks what happens where, so the team always knows who made which change. For the technical service, a dedicated mobile app was built that talks to the platform via a JWT-secured API, allowing technicians to pick up tasks on the go, update status, and add documents and photos.
Connected to the outside world
The plugin has its own API that feeds the websites woldringverhuur.nl and dewoldringlocatie.nl. Changes to a residential unit or location are online within seconds, without any manual retyping. In addition, tenants log in to a dedicated "Mijn Woldring" portal, and the system integrates with Google services for document handling. A standardized postcode helper ensures address details are entered correctly everywhere.
The impact
Woldring United has been running on this platform for years now, with continuous expansions around settlements, the direct debit flow and operational tooling. The complete administration, from first rental listing to final settlement, takes place centrally. Office, technical service and tenants all work from the same data, and new functionality can be added in line with the existing modular setup.
